Stephen has 40 years of experience as a specialist physician, university academic and research scientist. His principal expertise is in blood pressure, and he is a past President of the International Society of Hypertension. He is a Trustee of the High Blood Pressure Research Foundation and has been Chair of the Austin Medical Research Foundation since 2007.
Professor Robert Jones AM

Professor Jones AM is the Director Liver Transplant Unit, Austin Health and a Professor of Surgery. He is Director of the Victorian Adult and Paediatric Liver Transplant Unit and a Professorial Fellow of the University of Melbourne. The Transplant Unit is based at the Austin Hospital and the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, and has performed over 900 liver transplants. He has been a Board Member since 2007.
Ms Maureen Mangion

Maureen is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser with more than 30 years of tax consulting experience and is Australian Legal Practitioner. Maureen is also an accredited AICD Company Director. Maureen joined the Austin Medical Research Foundation in 2018 as Honorary Treasurer.
Mr Graeme Whitelaw

Graeme has 45 years’ experience in finance including expertise in corporate finance, investment banking and financial advice. He has been a member of the Rotary Club of Melbourne Investment Committee for 10 years. He joined the AMRF Board in 2018.
Professor Leon Bach

Professor Leon Bach is a Professor in the Faculty of Medicine at Monash University and Deputy Director of the Department of Endocrinology and Diabetes at the Alfred. His research interests are in the role of glycated proteins in diabetic complications and regulation of the insulin-like growth factor system (including IGF-1) in diseases including cancer and diabetes. He has been a Board Member since 2018.
Ms Teresa Zolnierkiewicz

Teresa has more than 30 years’ experience in financial services, private banking, trusteeship and carriage of fiduciary responsibilities. Currently, she is an independent consultant on strategy to philanthropists and those organisations seeking to engage with them, co-founder of filantropia - rethinking Philanthropy, and Chair of the Melbourne International Film Festival. She joined the AMRF Board in 2022.
